Anne Renier's Dance Academy

We have been able to photograph Anne's school for the last couple years. It is a lot of fun for me because my daughter Elizabeth is one of her students. That means I get to pick on her and all of her little friends. It is also the closest school to our community so I know a lot of the kids and it's fun to watch their recitals. It's also kinda cool to watch them grow and become better dancers.

The Bernie Matzke School of Dance

This is a new school for us this year. The teacher, Bernie Matzke is an absolutely amazing individual. She is 80 years old and still teaching and performing dance herself. She was great to work with and her dancers are extremely talented. This was so much fun for me and Kelly to do. Great people to work with and I even got a new prop out of it. Thanks Bernie!

Kids On The Move Dance

I haven't posted much lately because I actually have been very busy. We just wrapped up our Dance Season. We are very fortunate to be able to photograph a couple dance schools. Our first one is Kids On The Move Dance. They are such great kids to work with and we always photograph some of their performances at The Big Event For Little Kids which is a lot of fun whether you are a kid or not.

"Buds for Studs"

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to be a "flower stud" for the Community Memorial Hospital's annual Buds for Studs Spring Fling. The event was a wine, beer, and cheese tasting social gathering at the Black Bear Golf Course in Suring. One of my responsibilities as Mike "Snap a Picture Snapdragon" Kallies was to encourage the crowd to bid higher on a bouquet of snapdragons provided by The Flower Shoppe. I think it was a success as my bouquet brought the second highest bid of the evening at $180.00 The money went towards new equipment for infants at the hospital. All in all I think everyone who attended had a great time.

Adam & Stacy

Next month I get to photograph Adam & Stacy's wedding up in Marinette. It should be a lot of fun and at the same time really relaxed. These two have been in a lot of weddings as attendants for friends that they pretty much have everything nailed down. I actually met them while photographing one of their friends' weddings last summer. Here are some of their engagement photos.

Charleigh

Charleigh has been one of my easiest kids to photograph and it's hard to believe that she is already one year old. Once again we got some great images and had a little fun with her and a birthday cake at the end!
