Desiree is a local senior from Oconto High School. She came in last week with a couple outfits for an indoor session at the studio. She was very easy going and a lot of fun to photograph and as a result we got some great images. And, I got to try out some new backgrounds and lights! Here are just a few from her session.

Logan
It's fun to watch your clients grow up. Logan has been coming in for the last couple years using our Baby Steps Program. He has always been a fun kid to photograph. Sometimes he makes it a little challenging to get a smile or two but we always manage to do so. He had a hard time letting go of the tractor during this session but we got some great images before hand. Here are a few from his session.

WPPA State Convention
I just recently attended the Wisconsin Professional Photographers Association State Convention. I entered some high school senior folios for competition again and for the second straight year I won People's Choice Award for Best Folio-Composite Senior Boy! The convention was held at the Hotel Sierra Downtown Green Bay. Here is the winning folio along with the other one I entered.

Oconto Falls Girl Scout Troop 4312
Yesterday I photographed the 4th Grade Oconto Falls Girl Scout Juniors Troop 4312. The girls came in to learn a little about photography and then we photographed the group and individuals to make this poster. Each girl will get one of these posters for free from MK Photography in addition to earning their photography badge.

OFES Family Fitness Night
A couple weeks ago Oconto Falls Elementary School along with PIE (Partners In Education) and the Family School Partnership Group held a Family Fitness Night event at school. The event had 6 different stations that families rotated throughout the night working on cardio, endurance, healthy eating and more. There was a Zumba aerobics instructor and many volunteers that made the event a success! Here are some images from the night. I was even able to put down the camera and join in for some of the activities. I know everyone who participated had a great time and there were goodie bags handed out to the families that participated filled with donations from local businesses. The school and partnership groups hope to make this an annual event!
