Nyah - Children Photography - MK Photography - Oconto Falls, WI

The other day, little Nyah came in for our Valentines/February Special!  And, these were also her 2 year old portraits and boy is she every two!!!  But, in a good way!  :)  Nyah was very active and had quite the opinion on where she should sit and what she should sit on...your typical 2 year old.  But, we were still able to catch a few moments with her holding still and got some great images.  Here are just a few.

 Ever since Kelly was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer and she lost her hair due to the chemotherapy I knew that I wanted to do some photos of her without her hair.....I also knew that it wasn't going to be easy to convince her to do it....Imagine a beautiful healthy 34 year old woman who suddenly has to lose her hair, take a bunch of medicine that wages war with her body and causes it to change and be uncomfortable....and then say hey you need to smile for some photos! :-)  Well she did it and I am very grateful that she did.  In a lot of ways she is more beautiful than ever to me.  Her smile is contagious as other people have said, her endurance, positive attitude, and willingness to continue her fight is one of the most amazing things I have been able to witness in my life.  I love her with all of my heart and soul and I am proud of her for having the courage to let me create these images of her.  Because, as I told her we can look back and laugh some day and she will have a record of her struggle and fight.  And she will have a reminder of the beauty she possesses that shines through no matter what!

Tommie & Jamie - Engagement Photography - MK Photography - Oconto Falls, WI

 Recently I photographed Tommie & Jamie's engagement session along with some photos of their little boy.  We had to originally reschedule their session because they wanted to get some outdoor winter photos done and mother nature didn't cooperate very well with the snow.  But the day they came in worked extremely well and we got some great images outside.  Their wedding this mid May should be a great time.  Here are some of their photos!

Happy 2013 Everyone!  I was able to take some time off early this year so I haven't posted much lately.  But here is a good way to start the year.  I recently photographed the Oconto Falls 4th, 5th, & 6th Grade Girls Basketball Teams and made posters for the 5th and 6th grade.  They turned out pretty cool too!
