The last few years I have had the privilege of being invited to Oconto Falls Washington Middle School Career Day. I spend all day talking to 8th graders about the photography business including equipment, digital editing, etc...I always select a couple kids from each session and take their photos as well. What I try to do is show them the difference between a "picture" and a "portrait" through lighting, posing, composition...Here are some of the results from this year.
